Homework

Weekly homework assingments will be sent home at the beginning of the week, 
and should be returned by Friday. Please read to your child daily.  A 
booklog will be sent home at the beginning of the month that should be 
turned in at the end of the month.

This week's homework is a paper where the children will draw a picture of 
their family.  I am also asking that someone label the picture with correct 
spelling.  This will be kept in their writing folders for when they begin 
their stories.

In addition to weekly worksheets, the class will take home a little booklet 
on most Tuesdays.  The children are to read the booklet to someone else, and 
write their names on the slip of paper to show who the book was read to.  
The children are to return the slip of paper only.  They can keep the little 
booklet.
