Homework

* Read each night.  Use what you know!   Happy Reading!
	(You may borrow a book if you’d like to.)   
		         

* Find a way to practice number combinations and strategies   
             (Make a fact family grow from one fact)

* Have someone read these words to you.  
       Tell them the vowel you hear in the middle.

   (cat, bit, red, cub, sit, dot, fun, sat, chat, nut, met, Bob, bed, chin)

	
* Optional: Consider buying a gift for our Adopted Family

Website activities, Tens Go Fish,  Turn Over Ten,  Bump, Dice)  
    Write down the math facts you make.
        Talk about and name the strategies you use.  
           Discover any fact families?
Try to retell a story after you have  read it.

Play one of our math games or explore some of the links on the website.  

Play "Bump"(doubles)  or "Dice"(tens and ones).

Tell someone about our story “Even Steven and Odd Todd” 

Teach someone you love how to play "Tens Go Fish" or "Turn Over Ten"
	       
Teach someone you love how to play  "Compare" -  Remember to talk mathematically -
		(GREATER THAN and less than)








Most importantly,  is to get a good night's sleep each night
...and a good healthy breakfast each morning so that you are ready
to do your very best in school.
