Does my child need to have their log signed every evening?

No, please sign the log AFTER they have COMPLETED a book.

Is snack to be packed in a separate bag?

Yes, please do so since the lunches are in the large lunch bin at the end of the hallway when snack time 
arrives.

What if my child is absent on a Monday when the spelling words are given?

The core spelling words are posted on the website each Monday for you to access.  Your child can write 
the spelling words into his/her spelling book and also use them Monday evening for homework.

Who is Felix?

Felix is a special bunny your child will receive/received that will be traveling around the 
country/world.  If you, your family, or someone you know is taking a vacation, please send Felix 
along for the trip! He knows to send a postcard to us at Guth Elementary.  Your child DOES NOT need 
to be going on the vacation in order for Felix to go along.
