Dear Parents,
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to Guth
Elementary School. Even though this is only my second year as Guth's Art teacher,
I have been teaching art on the elementary level for over 11 years. I look
forward to providing an active and enjoyable art education experience for
all my students.
The Pennridge Elementary art program features student work in many ways
each year. Each school has student art published in the News Herald one
issue in the year. Art is displayed for one month in our District Education
Board Room. In May we have a school wide Art Show which includes at least
three pieces of work from each child in grades 1-5.
While some art work may come home with your child during the year, we
save at least three pieces for these displays. You can expect to see all of
your child's work coming home in June
