Hi! My name is Missy Kunakorn, and I'm the Guidance Counselor at Seylar. I
received my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Evangel University in
Springfield, Missouri, and my Master's degree in Counselor Education from
Radford University in Radford, Virginia. Through my college years I worked
as a waitress, a counselor at a residential facility for emotionally
disturbed kids, and had a graduate assistantship in the Research and
Sponsored Programs department at Radford University. This is my 8th year at
Seylar Elementary. I'm married, have a daughter, and
2 chinese sharpeis. In my spare time I love to be with family and
absolutely love the outdoors, music, and food (especially spicy ethnic
food). I love working with kids because they inspire and energize me!!!
