What instrumental oportunities are available for my child?

Fourth and fifth graders are invited to join the Band; third, fourth, and
fifth graders are invited to play string instruments. In weekly music
classes, third graders are taught to play the recorder in the 3rd and 4th
quarters. All students play rhythm instruments, boomwhackers, and barred
(Orff) instruments within their weekly Music classes.

Why does every 4th and 5th grader have to sing in small groups for Mrs. Aspan?

For two reasons! First, in order to assess each student's vocal ability and
quality, I need to really LISTEN to you sing in a setting other than a large
group-like setting, as you often do in Music classes. The second reason for
this is that I want to give you the opportunity to decide on your own whether
you would like to be part of the 4th Grade or 5th Grade Chorus at Sellersville
and WRE.
