My name is Gail Blase and I live in Quakertown. I graduated from Quakertown High School, where
my dad was a teacher and football coach and my mother taught kindergarten. I guess teaching is in
my blood. I received a B.S. degree from Bloomsburg University and a M.Ed. from Penn State (Go,
Lions!). I have been teaching at Sellersville for 39 years( It keeps me young!), most of those years in
first grade. I LOVE FIRST GRADE!! I love the children's enthusiasm! The progress they
make in first grade is so rewarding! And first grade is FUN! Besides teaching first grade, I also enjoy
reading, traveling, the beach, and following the Philadelphia sports teams (Fly, Eagles Fly!). I'm
looking forward to this year and helping the children build character that may change the world!
The students, parents, staff and community of the Sellersville Elementary School will work together to
consistently create a caring and safe environment that nurtures lifelong learning. We will work
cooperatively to promote positive attitudes and to instill a mutual respect and tolerance of our students'
individual differences.
