About The Teacher

Mrs. Henry is so excited to be teaching another group of first graders that
RAISE THE BAR at Seylar Elementary.  In fact, she went to Seylar when she was
a first grader!  Mrs. Henry received her bachelor's degree in elementary
education and a master's degree in reading and literacy.  Mrs. Henry enjoys
spending her free time with Mr. Henry and her puppy, Bella.  She loves to read
and teach first graders, too!

Ms. Malone is very excited to be teaching first grade at Seylar Elementary! 
Ms. Malone received her B.A. in Early Childhood Education/Child and Family
Development as well as an Early Childhood Mathematics Certification from the
University of Georgia.   She started her teaching journey 4 years ago in
Georgia where she taught 4th and 1st grade.  During this time she went back to
school where she earned her Gifted/Talented Teaching Certification,  spending
last year as the gifted/talented teacher at her school in Georgia.
 Ms. Malone is currently pursuing her Masters of Education and her Reading
Specialist degree in PA.  Ms. Malone enjoys reading, being outdoors, watching
football, and animals.  She can’t wait to have a year full of fun and learning
with her new first graders!

Mrs. Rendler is happy to be back at Seylar!  She is the Mommy of a three year 
old boy named Andrew and a 21 month old boy named Bradley.  Mrs. Rendler is 
proud to tell you that she was a Pennridge graduate.  She received her 
bachelor's degree in elementary education and her Master's degree in reading.  
She enjoys playing with her two boys and her yellow lab named Daisy.  She is 
looking forward to a wonderful school year with her first graders!

Our mission is to learn as much as we can each day, while supporting 
each other as we grow and change.  We will always do our BEST!
