This home-school connection "intervention" enables my students to
borrow a book and a tape, to read along with someone (or by
themselves) at home.
After reading, a parent or older sibling asks the student the questions
on the included comprehension sheet. All the materials are inside a
cute canvas bag, and students may borrow a different book/tape as
many times as they wish, as long as they continue to return the book
bags.
Right now, this program is in place for First and Second Grade only; I
am working to locate funds to continue the intervention in third grade at
some point!
