My name is Bonnie Taylor, and I will be your child's teacher this year. We
have both Half-Day and Full-Day Kindergartners together this year. I am
looking forward to a wonderful year growing to be more like Jesus!
A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF:
My husband, Jim, and I have been married for 32 years this past summer. We
have 4 wonderful children. Timothy, our oldest, is working for a company in
the area of full-immersion visual reality environments in Marshalltown, Iowa.
He lives there with his wife, Stephanie. They will celebrate their fifth
anniversary the end of October. Dan graduated from The Peabody Conservatory
of Music in Baltimore studying cello performance with a minor in
voice. This past year he graduated from Temple's Music school with his
Master's Degree in voice/opera. He also celebrated his first wedding
anniversary with his wife Ashley this past July. Emily is a senior at Ursinus
College in Collegeville, PA this year double majoring in Theatre and Dance
with minors in Secondary Education and Psychology. If that is not enough to
keep her busy, she has a job with Foy Flying Company learning the 'ropes' and
art of 'flying with wires'. She is worship leader and small discipleship group
leader of the InterVarsity Christian Fellowship at Ursinus. Our youngest
daughter, Anna, will be a senior at P.C.S. this year. Anna loves classical
ballet and is actively involved in the college search for dance and missions.
This has proven to be a tough combination to find at one school, but believes
this is where God is calling her. We are praying for guidance and direction as
she seeks to glorify God in all she does.
Our family resides in Lansdale and attends River of Life Church in
Doylestown. I have been blessed to teach Kindergarten at PCS for the past 12
years.
Our school theme this year is "Shine Like Stars" from Philippians 2:15.
This verse, will take us on a year long study of what it means to shine for
Jesus and how we can shine in a dark and evil world as little five
and six year olds. We will use the study of insects to help us learn more
about God and how we can grow to be more like him.
Kindergarten will be a year of immense, and measurable growth in your
child's life. I look forward to celebrating that growth with your child, and
your family, this year with great anticipation and excitement.
