May 13-17 Zoo AnimalsThis month we will be reviewing all shapes and colors. We will work on numbers 9 and 10. We will begin talking about rhyming words.Religion- I can pretend. God gave us the gift of imagination. I can love. God loves us and wants us to love others.Art- Zoo animal books Elmer the Elephant Centers- Journals Introduce Rhyming words Letter center U and VReminders-I have some dates that I wanted to put out now so people can plan their work schedules. Our last day of Pre-K is Thursday June 6th. This is not a full day of school. The children come in and we do a closing ceremony this day with the Pre-K4. School is over for the year when the ceremony is over. I will get back to you about specific times but it usually is about 9 to 10. Hope this helps with planning! I would like all the children to come to school everyday that last week. We do a fun activity for each day and I wouldn't want anyone to miss out, so I hope this can work with everyone's schedules.On May 22nd, we will be doing the letter X. This will be pirate day in the Pre-K3. We will hunt for the treasure all around school and look for the letter x to lead us to the treasure. The children may dress up like pirates this day. I will provide more details for this next week when the day gets closer. I just wanted to give you some time to think about it. Thank you for all the flowers for Mary! Our table is beautiful.
