This week the students will learn that God made countries. We will learn
about children in other countries and how they live. We will learn to sing
songs in different languages. Our story for this week is Peacock Parade
written by LeeAnn Piermont Camut, illustrated by Carolyn Boscola. In science
we are learning about the planet Mars. The children will learn what Mars
looks like and how it moves. We will watch a video on United Streaming about
the Rovers that visited Mars.

In Religion the children will know that May is the month that we honor Mary.
Our story for this week is Muncha! Muncha! Muncha!. The children will learn
about rabbits and what they like to each. The children will also learn about
plants and gardening. Please continue to review your child's address with
them and their phone number. FYI- We are off Thursday and Friday.

In Religion, the children will learn that God made Little Things in our
world. Our story for this week is We Need Construction Workers, written by
Lisa Trumbauer. The children will learn about different types of
machinery and tools used in construction this week. In Science, the children
will learn about our Solar System. We continue to talk about our community
helpers too! We will learn that construction workers help the community to
grow. We will continue to review our letters and numbers.
