We are learning about life at Plimoth Plantation in 1627! What was it
like to be a Pilgrim child or a child of the Wampanoag tribe? Your child
should be able to tell you all about it! What were their chores? What did
they wear? What foods did they eat? What games did they play? It was an
interesting life and very different from our own.
I look forward to meeting with all parents to discuss their childrens'
progress. It is always fun to see how much a child grows!
Addition with regrouping, identifying and counting coins (pennies,
nickels, dimes, quarters, and half-dollars) up to one dollars, and problem
solving skills will challenge our second graders during math class in
November and December. Do let us know if your child is experiencing
difficulty with homework so we can help them.
