Welcome to second grade! I am so excited to be your teacher this year. I
love school! It has always been my favorite place to be. How about you? I
love my family, too. Mr. Daniels is a musician who plays the trombone and
tuba. He works in New York City and plays trombone in the orchestras of
Broadway shows such as "Wicked" and "The Lion King", at a jazz club called
The Vanguard, and sometimes with the New York City Ballet Orchestra. He also
teaches at E. Stroudsburg University. Maybe he'll come in and play for our
class this year? I hope so! My son, Ben, is also a musician, playing bass,
guitar, sitar, and drums. My daughter, Kate, is a sophomore at Richmond
University, London England! That's a picture of her with Mr. Daniels and I
when we visited her in London last year. She is studying art, media, and
design. She is also a musician and plays the french horn and piano! Kate
loves to draw and write. I enjoy playing piano, also, and along with Mrs.
Paiewonsky's class, we'll learn songs that teach us the history of our
country! WhenI'm not teaching and spending time with my family, I love to
read, work in my garden, draw and paint, and sing in my church's choir. I
can't wait to learn all about you!
