You can expect to have no more than 30 minutes of homework Monday -
Thursday.
Your child should have as homework every Monday - Thursday a
reading assignment. Also your child should bring home Math homework each of
those nights. This Math worksheet is practice for the concept that was
taught that day in Math.
Every Monday your child will also bring home their Spelling notebook and
their Vocabulary notebook. On Monday your child will write their Spelling
words two more times for homework as practice. Their Spelling notebook is due
by that Thursday. You may keep your child's Vocabulary notebook at home until
Friday's Vocabulary test. Make sure that your child returns their Vocabulary
notebook on Friday so I can mark the words they know in their notebook.
Another option is to make a list of both words to study at home for both
tests Friday.
A vocabulary study suggestion: put the vocabulary words on index cards and
add to the previous words for daily practice. This suggestion will make
better readers!!!
Usually every Thursday your child will bring home their Religion Book. You
and your child, as a family, will do the Chapter Review to study for their
Religion test the next Monday.
