Calling all "A" students*****Elmer's Aquarium Pet Center in Monroeville has a special treat for "A" students. If any student earns at least one "A" on their final report card they will receive a free hermit crab. Simply bring in your report card to Elmer's.
We had a great time on our field trip. We even had great weather so we could eat and play at Ingram Park.
Our last vocabulary test will be Thursday, May 30. It will be for the Book 5, Unit 2 words. It will be the last 4 stories. You may also find them on my web page. Your child's vocabulary notebookwas sent home with your child on Friday. Please keep it at home to study. It does not need to be returned to school.
Our last Spelling Pre-test will be Monday, May 20 and our last Spelling test will be Thursday, May 30.
It is VERY important that a written note from the parent/guardian is sent with your child to school if there is a change in your child's dismissal. The school cannot rely on what your child tells us about their dismissal change. Please use the note available on the school web page. If a written note cannot be given please call the school personally about the change. If there is doubt the school will send your child to the After School room. This is for your child's safety.
