Classes begin at 8:05 AM.
SCHOOL UNIFORM SHORTS
Students are permitted to wear their uniform blue walking shorts.
UNIFORM SHORTS, walking shorts,must be TO THE KNEE. I found
some students
grew during the summer and are in short shorts.
If they grew out of last year's shorts, please wear the regular pants or
skirt/jumper.

Eventually all students will be required to wear the SPS logo. It is classy.
Girls in Grades 1-4 will wear the school jumper, which is a special plaid.
PARENT COOPERATION NEEDED:
School Uniform: Review the uniform with your child/ children.
Uniforms for the girls must come to the knee (2 inches above is
permitted). Let the hem down as they grow.
Students must wear a belt with their pants. There are uniform pants.
Shoes may have heels no higher than 2 inches.
Socks must show above the shoes. Knee socks and socks with a cuff
are
acceptable. See the handbook for types of acceptable
shoes.
Thank you for all your cooperation. It is easier for parents to check their
children, than for the teachers to be reminding them of our school dress
code.
EMERGENCY PLAN... Students have practiced moving to spaces that
we might use in case we need to move to a site other than their
classroom. We have fire drill spaces, weather space, out of the building
spaces: Community Center, St. Philip Church space, front hall space,
and
gym space for gathering if necessary.
