STUDENTS AND PARENTS:
We are getting low on hand sanitizer in 6A. If anyone is able to contribute a
bottle or two, please do. We request the colorless sanitizer, such as Purelle
Original, as the colored types tend to have perfumes that aggravate students'
allergies. Thank you in advance for your help and generosity!
PARENTS: Please check Gradebook to see how your child is currently doing in
Spanish. Please remember that ALL Spanish students are responsible for
studying 15 minutes nightly from the Spanish notes and vocabulary. To be
honest with you, it seems that not many of the students are doing the
studying, which is their Spanish homework. Please monitor their Spanish study
time. Thank you!
SPANISH CLASSES' STUDENTS AND PARENTS: The homework assignments are always
posted on the homework page. If a student misses class or forgets an
assignment, check the homework page for current assignments.
PARENTS: Any student who has low marks in Spanish (C or below for the first
9-week Spanish grade)will be asked to have a parent monitor and sign off on a
daily 15-minute period of study. During the 15 minutes, the student should
study the current vocabulary and class notes. Each student should also keep
current vocabulary words on index cards and do a rotational study of them
weekly.
STUDENTS: Always make up any work that you miss as soon as possible.
ONE missed assignment, which receives a zero, can make the difference between
a very nice passing grade and an 'E'!!! If you need help with a subject, see
me right away; don't wait until you are failing.
