The entire school is working on a discipline system by Dr. Marvin
Marshall. We will focus on his 3 main principles = Positivity, Choices, and
Reflection. Kindergarten will be using his Give Me 5 Attention Management.
We will put our hand up (like a high five) and say "Give Me 5". The students
will know that this means 2 ears listening, 2 eyes looking, and 1 mouth
quiet. Please visit his web site at www.MarvinMarshall.com.
We are also focussing on the ways we ACT in school based on his different
levels. Level A is annoying & out of control. Level B is bothering or
bossy. Level C is cooperating. Level D is doing it right & using self
control.

Practice the ANGEL Way! St. Philip School encourages our children to follow
The A.N.G.E.L. Way (Acquiring Natural Goodness in Everyday Life) Our children
will get to know Jesus and our Catholic Faith. We will learn prayers, songs,
and participate in many activities that will make us feel closer to God. Our
second virtue this year is COURAGE. We are learning about the Mary and Joseph
and how they had a lot of courage to be the parents of Jesus. We are trying
to remember them and Jesus in everything we do.
