I graduated from Cabrini College with a BS in Elementary Education and from
St. Joseph's University with a MA in Education. I began my teaching career
in the Marple-Newtown School District where I taught for seven years before
I started my family. When my children went to school at St. Anastasia's, I
started substituting there. I was called to substitute at Sacred Heart for
two weeks in October, 1992, and I have been here ever since. My husband,
Jerry, was a Marple Twp. policeman/detective for 27 years. He is presently
an investigator with the PA Dept. of Revenue. We have four children. Our
three daughters are college graduates and our son is a senior at Penn
State. I am an avid sports fan. I follow Penn State football, Villanova
basketball, and the Eagles. I love to read in my spare time. I also enjoy
traveling with my husband and family. The Jersey shore remains my favorite
vacation spot.
I want the children in my class to develop a lifelong love of learning. I
want them to fulfill their potential in all areas: religious, academic, and
social. I want them to have fun while they work to achieve their goals.
