Dear Parents,
Welcome to December! This week we will be talking about Advent and how
we can prepare our hearts for Christmas. We will be making a manger today and
we will bring it home. Every time you see your child doing a good deed they
may put a piece of “hay” in the manger. Hopefully, by the time Christmas
arrives the manger will be filled.
We will also, be making an Advent wreath to use at home. The prayers
to say each night will also be sent home.
This Friday is Santa’s Secret Shopping day. The children will come to
school with a parent at their regular time and go shopping in the gym for
about a half hour. I will meet you at the back door at 8:45. Each child must
be accompanied by an adult in order to go shopping.
This Friday we will learn about St. Nicholas and how he was a Bishop.
We will be learning about the letter G this week.
Don’t forget show-n-tell on Friday. They may bring something that
begins with the letter G.

Our Christmas show will take place on Tuesday, Dec.22nd in the gym.
The children will be dismissed afterwards.
