Ways You Can Help Sacred Heart

1. Send in your HASA dues ( $10 per family)

2. Purchase Scrip

When you purchase gift cards from participating merchants, you will earn a voucher of 3% of every $50 you purchase. This voucher can be used to offset tuition at Sacred Heart School, Bishop Shannahan AND can be used for your CCD registration as well. Sacred Heart receives at least 2% of ANY scrip purchase. Scrip can be purchased from the Rectory Tuesday through Friday during the day and after each mass on the weekend. For a complete list of participating merchants, log onto the Sacred Heart Home and School web page.

FAQ About Scrip:

*What is the Scrip Program? Scrip is a program that benefits our Parish in a variety of ways. Sacred Heart buys gift cards from local grocery stores and other retailers through a website at a discount. The Parish then sells these cards at face value.

*How will my family benefit? When you buy any combination of $50, 3% ($1.50) is automatically given to you. This is in the form of a "tuition voucher" card. These cards must be save by you, the CCD or school family, and can be turned in when tuition payments are made or when registering for CCD. The other percentage then goes to the Parish to help pay for utilities.

*Where and when can I buy Scrip? Scrip is sold after every Mass on the weekends and is available at the Rectory Tues - Friday 8:30am - 3:00pm. We're also working on having Scrip available after First Friday Mass.

*What stores is Scrip available for? See our list on the scrip page

*Is there Scrip available that does not qualify for Education Voucher? Yes, there are many stores to choose from but because they are sold to the Parish for less than a 5% discount, they do not qualify for the vouchers. These Scrip cards can be ordered especially for you and still help to support the Parish. If you'd like Scrip from a retailer not listed, chances are we can still get it for you. Please contact Terrianne through e-mail at tannemh@zoominternet.net.

*What is the turn around time for pre-ordered Scrip? Orders are placed on Monday and are typically available for pick up on Friday.

*Is there anything I can do to help with the Scrip program? Yes! We are in need of a seller for 7:45am Mass on Sundays.
