"GIVE THANKS TO THE LORD FOR HE IS GOOD, HIS LOVE IS EVERLASTING." Psalm 106 Don't know how to pray, what to pray, check out the Psalms. 150 to pick from, one for every experience in your life! We have been having a wonderful time during Catholic Schools' Week! We started the week with a beautiful 11:30 Mass on Sunday. Many students got to participate as readers, ushers, singers, etc. A great start to a great week. Monday morning the students were provided with a delicious and healthy fruit snack, provided by our Health and Wellness program here at St. Al's. The students have created and put together Birthday Boxes for the needy of the area. They will go to the local North Coventry Food Pantry. Thanks for all the supplies you sent in! The women from the Food Pantry came to school today to pick up all the boxes all the homerooms put together, and even Channel 10 News came to check us out. On Thursday, we had a wonderful open house and lunch with the parents. Thanks to all who were able to come and join us! On Friday, the 5th and 6th graders will take part in a Jeopardy game in all the subjects. The students will compete by Homerooms. This is a prelude for the students for the Academic Challenge at SPX. On Friday afternoon, we will have a great time at the Bowling Lanes. This is a fun way to celebrate our Catholic Schools' Week. Thanks, also, for the thoughtful and delicious breakfast treats provided for the teachers on Friday morning. May we all continue to remember the theme for this week - CATHOLIC SCHOOLS CELEBRATE SERVICE. I know St. Aloysius parents have been know for this for a long time! Thank you, parents, for setting the example for our young people! One more important announcement - Get ready, the Donut Man is coming! to St. Aloysius School - Wed. Feb.4 - 1:30 pm - Begley Hall Parents invited to enjoy this great program.
