THANK YOU TO THE FAMILIES WHO BAKED AND SENT IN SNACKS FOR OUR SNACK DAY,AND 
FOR BEING FLEXIBLE WHEN IT SWITCHED TO THURSDAY! THE MONEY WILL HELP PAY FOR 
OUR PROJECTS FOR MANATAWNY MANOR AND A FAMILY IN NEED.

We have started a "Mystery Reader" program in First Grade. If you would like 
to come and read to our class, please email or send me a note and we'll work 
out a time. The children have really been enjoying our mystery guests.

To clarify some information:

Please check their homework and sign the copybook each night.

Book Reports are due on Friday. They will pick a new book each week. If you 
think they need a different level book, let me know.Unfortunately a Level 1 
book is not always the same across the board. If your child is home 
sick and you have a book from home, that is fine also.

Religion and Spelling tests will usually be on Fridays. Check their copybooks 
for any changes.
