Dates to remember:
October 27th - Renfrew Park Field Trip Remember to pack a lunch for your child. Also, be sure to dress him/her weather appropriate. Hopefully it will not be cold and rainy on our day.
October 28th - Our Nocturnal Animal Reports are due. We will have researched on the Internet, books and class discussions. We will send home information, as well as, their graphic organizer with information on it. They will use it as a rough draft copy. All they need are some pertinent facts about their animal. This assignment is designed to familiarize them with gathering information and pulling together the main facts.
October 30th - All Saint's Day Celebration - Your child needs to choose a saint, find out some information to write down and read, or tell to our 5th grade Prayer Buddies. We will go to the auditorium and in small groups, talk and read about our saint. Most of the children dress up in some sort of appropriate costume to represent their chosen saint.
