Summer Reading - Third Grade students entering Fourth Grade
All students are required to read The Lemonade War by Jacqueline Davies
In addition, students must read two of the following books:

Misty of Chincoteague by Marguerite Henry
Frindle by Andrew Clements
Emmy and the Incredible Shrinking Rat by Lynne Jonell
We will be starting to give out Performance Assessments. All Performance
Assessments will be given out before final exams. There is nothing to study
for these, and they will be in-class assessments. Just wanted to let you know.
Practice, practice, practice multiplication facts! The children should be
doing this daily. I told the class that it is a good idea for them to have
(or make) flash cards to practice with. Please know that all multiplication
facts must be memorized.
