Helping Children to Recognize Jesus in Everyone!

We are a Catholic Elementary School offering Kindergarten through Grade Eight. We have a strong core curriculum that fosters a love of learning, coupled with an understanding and deep appreciation of our Catholic faith. With our method of "differentiated instruction", we are dedicated to meeting the needs of students at all ability levels.

Welcome to our School

Our children have a tremendous potential for growth. Their God-given imagination and reflective minds are eager for stimulation. In a warm, caring, risk-free environment, Saint Elizabeth Parish School teachers model and manifest Catholic beliefs, values, and attitudes. We offer a curriculum which leads to an awareness of the unconditional love of God. Thank you for caring to make a thoughtful informed decision on what is best for your child. We believe that in choosing a Catholic elementary school you provide them with a school experience that educates the whole child. We know that students need to be engaged in their learning before they can apply higher order, creative thinking skills. They are most engaged when they themselves are part of constructing meaning, not when teachers do it for them. Our classroom instruction embraces both high standards and accountability for students’ learning. Our goal is to enable students to thrive spiritually, cognitively, socially, emotionally, and civically.

In encouraging students to meet challenges creatively, to collaborate, and apply critical thinking skills to real-world, unpredictable situations inside and outside of school, we strive to identify and address what works to educate the whole child. Teachers’ summers are spent preparing for the year ahead. This year grades K to 4 were trained in Dibels testing and science teachers in teaching science experientially. Expansion of educational opportunities played a role with the addition of a language teacher and an additional science teacher. We recognized the importance of arts integration with our school musical. To channel the leadership potential of our students, we are now a chapter of the National Junior Honor Society, and are encouraging STEM opportunities with our X-STEM ambassadors leading the way. Our newer initiatives embrace those already in place – Harmonium, Band, Future Cities, Book Clubs, Reading Olympics, Stars in Service, Student Council, Science Explorers, STEM for middle grades…the list goes on!
