I’m excited to be back at Saint Ignatius for my fifth year! This year I
will be the fifth grade homeroom and religion teacher, teach Spanish and
computers to grade PreK to 8th, be the CARES director, and be the technology
coordinator for Saint Ignatius. I have always enjoyed teaching fifth grade
and look forward to being able to share my faith through teaching
religion.
I attended Seton Hall University (go Pirates!) and have a B.S.E in
elementary education, special education, early childhood education, and
Spanish. In addition, I had the opportunity to study at the University of
Alicante in Alicante, Spain this past summer where I studied the culture and
literature of Spain.
I also worked at the Bosque School in Albuquerque, New Mexico as a network
and telecommunications coordinator and taught Spanish at the Pen Ryn School in
Fairless Hills, PA.
I live in Yardley and am a member of Saint Ignatius Parish, but the rest
of my family lives in Corrales, New Mexico: my Mom and Dad, my younger
brother Chris who is in the Marine Corps, and a younger sister Kelley who is
a sophmore at the University of New Mexico, my sister Rebecca who is a senior
in high school, and two cats named Kitty and Chessie. My family runs a bakery
in Albuquerque where I often work during the summers. I enjoy reading,
spending time with my family and friends, listening to music, seeing good
movies, rock climbing, and hiking.
