He said, with great satisfaction, because they were my patients, I cared for them.
We would consider Dr. Judd a hero wouldn’t we? Because he was a servant to his patients. He showed his family and the medical community that being last often times means going out of your comfort zone to help others that giving up your own life for the sake of others is the greatest gift you can give.
This is World Mission Sunday and our minds and hearts reach out today to people like Dr. Judd who make the business of their lives the living out of the Gospel message, “For the Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
