The Archdiocese recommends 90 min. of homework nightly for fifth and sixth
grades. I will try (try, can't promise) to avoid weekend assignments.
Some project work will be done in classroom time. Some project work
completion must be done as homework.
There is time provided at the end of every day for students to copy down
assignments, put their things on their desk and pack up so nothing is
forgotten. If a student has incomplete homework it is done at lunch recess
the following day. If homework is forgotten a third time the parent will be
notified.
Parents should verify the assignments are complete and then sign the Homework
Book.
If a student is absent we will write down classroom work and homework and
send it via a brother or sister or another designated student. Homework can
be picked up after school at the office if a parent requests.
