GRADE 8 WILL HAVE A MATH TEST ON WEDNESDAY, THE 14TH. WE HAVE BEEN WORKING
ON SQUARE ROOTS AND RATIONAL AND IRRATIONAL NUMBERS.
GRADES 6 AND 7 HAVE BEEN WORKING ON ORDER OF OPERATIONS. THIS IS A VERY
IMPORTANT SKILL NOW AND WELL INTO FUTURE MATH CLASSES.
GRADE 6 HAS BEEN LEARNING ABOUT EARTHQUAKES AND VOLCANOES. THEY ILLUSTRATED
SOME EARTHQUAKE LEGENDS AND WROTE LETTERS CONVINCING FELLOW SCIENTISTS OF THE
CONTINENTAL DRIFT THEORY.
GRADE 7
****All observations, definitions and questions from the "egg" speriment lab
are due on Tuesday October 20. All must be neatly written or typed. Do not
hand in questions and definitions on the instruction page.
GRADE 8 will continue their study on matter by learing about mixtures and
compounds.
