Summer Reading List

Dear Third Graders,
     Welcome to the wonderful world of Third Grade reading! I can't wait to 
share with you the many exciting projects that I have planned for our next 
school year.  To help you get ready, I am asking that this summer you read 
and write about three books from the list below that I have put together for 
you. I have handed out in your summer packet three reading activities and 
work sheets that will be filled out for the books. You may pair any activity 
to whichever book you want from the choices given. Each activity is different 
and so you should have fun doing them. Feel free to read more than the books 
listed if you want to! So visit your public library or local bookstore, find 
a nice shady spot, and get lost in a great book!
