Dear Parents and Students,

Join us at Barnes and Noble on Chemical Road on Thursday, May 24th starting at 6:30 to pick out your summer reading books! See you there!

LUNCH REMINDER:

The last day of hot lunch for the school year will be Thursday, May 31, 2012.  Friday, June 1, 2012 will be a Chick-Fil-A Day for those who sent in their orders.   The following week, June 4th to June 8th, only milk ($ .50),  bottled water ($ .25), & water ice ($ .25) will be available for sale – NO LUNCH.  Be sure to pack a lunch for your child/children


There's no school on Friday, May 25th and Monday, May 28th. Enjoy the long weekend!

Friday, June 1st              Spelling (see study guide)
Monday, June 4th           Religion (see study guide)
Tuesday, June 5th          ELA
Wednesday, June 6th    Math

Field Trip Reminders to The Elmwood Park Zoo on Thurs., 5/31:
1. Wear gym clothes and weather appropriate outerwear if necessary
2. Bring bagged lunch (no glass)

             We are coming to the home stretch as we start the 3rd trimester and we still have a lot of work to do in 3rd grade.  Keep up your energy and hard work to finish 3rd grade with your BEST effort!!!

Please don't forget to check your child's behavior calendar each night.  It is my way to communicate daily progress related to work or behavior.  They get a boost of confidence when you praise them for working hard.  :-)
