A Message from the Principal

The best gift you can give your child is a quality education. Because of your parental love and concern as well as the sacrifices you have been willing to make, your child is acquiring an education and preparation for life that is second to none. Catholic schools provide an excellent education backed by a strong value system. We salute you for making that possible for your child. Here at Saint Pius X School, our teachers strive daily to give your child the very best education as well as solid Christian values. The Catholic school curriculum is one that is infused with strong values, high academic standards, and discipline. We are committed to making a difference in our world by empowering our students to become good Christian citizens and the leaders of tomorrow. A Catholic school education goes beyond preparation for a secular life. It is an education that prepares students for a Christian life. At Saint Pius X School we continue to build solid foundations for the future as well as strong moral character.

Dear Parents and Guardians,

This is an update on H1N1 vaccinations available in Delaware County. The Marple Newtown School District has included all schools in the district, both public and private, to participate in the county-wide vaccination program. This will be offered in the upcoming weeks. It is not yet clear how many doses of the vaccine will be available, or when the exact date will be, but we expect to conduct a vaccination clinic at Marple Newtown High School on a weekend in December. Consent or Refusal forms for participation in the Marple Newtown vaccination program must be returned by Tuesday, December 1.

Information about this opportunity, including necessary forms and informational flyers, are available on our school’s website. All information is also available in our school office. Please check the school’s website often for updates on this vaccination program.
