Announcements small medium large For the Week of December 21 Last week our 8th grade Buddies helped us make a special project and read us Christmas stories. Then we had a special delivery from the North Pole- letters from Santa! The children were so surprised and excited! There are no pretzels for snack this week. Monday is our Polar Express Christmas party. The children do not need to wear their uniforms. They can wear Christmas clothes or Christmas colored clothes. We have a school liturgy on Tuesday at 8:30am. Please join us. We have a full day of school with Christmas break starting after school. There will be no CARES. What we will learn this week: Religion We will light our fourth candle in our Advent wreath, read our Promise magazine, and go to our school liturgy. Math We will make fact families and play an addition relay game to review facts. ILA We will finish our Main Selection "Communities." The skills we will learn are: classify, short u, initial c /s sound/ and g /j sound/, and special titles. Social Studies We will finish our trip around the world learning about Christmas traditions. We will learn about French, English, Italian, Swedish, and Mexican traditions. Science We will begin talking about winter.
