Announcements small medium large Week of December 21, 2009 What a snowstorm we had this past weekend!! I know my kids loved playing in the snow, and I hope your children did too. Thank you to all the parents who came to read to us during the month of December. The children enjoyed your visits and treats, so we thank you for taking time out of your schedule. Last week, we met with our buddies to work on a special project. While we were with them, Sister Marita delivered letters from the children’s elves!! How exciting that was - the letters were even cold from the trip! On Monday, we will have our Polar Express party. The children may wear Christmas colored clothes, and not their regular uniform. On Tuesday, we will attend 8:30 Mass with the school. Just a reminder that there will no CARES on Tuesday, even though it is a full day of school. Here is what we will learn this week: RELIGION: We will attend Mass on Tuesday, and read our Promise magazine. MATH: We will make fact families and play an addition relay game. ILA: We will finish our Main Selection "Communities." The skills we will focus on are: classify, short u, initial c /s sound/ and g /j sound/, and special titles.
