                   Week of November 16, 2009

We had another great week in First Grade. Last week we had 2 guest
speakers. Mrs. Petticord, a dietician, discussed the importance of adding
fruits and vegetables to our meal and we played a fun "healthy food" bingo
game too. Dr. Duffy, a pediatric surgeon, brought his friend Stuffee, to
share his job. A very special thank you to both for sharing their time with
us!

We are participating in a Thanksgiving Outreach. Our class needs to bring in
boxes of stuffing. All donations are due on Thursday Nov. 19th. Thank you
