Math
There will be a Math test on Chapter 3-Subtraction on Wednesday December
2nd. Please review pp. 101-142 and H mathbooks pp. 31-45. Feel free to fill
in the pages that were completed in the packets but not in the books to help
review for the test. Please do not go ahead. We will be completing pp. 123-
142 and H Math books pp. 40-45 in class or for homework in the next 2 weeks.
We will complete another Math Maintenance this week.
Reading
We will assess Word list #11 on Wednesday December 9th. The children
will need to know the words, without sounding them out. There will be a few
review words from list #10.
Writing
There will be a test on Nouns on Thursday December 3rd. We will read
sentences to the children and ask them to circle a person, place, thing or
animal in each sentence.
The children will be assessed on writing complete sentences this
week. At this point, I will be looking for the sentence to begin with a
capital letter & end with a period , finger spaces between words and that
the sentence makes sense. We have been writing sentences in our journals
each week and the children are doing very well with this.
Handwriting
The children will be assessed on Handwriting next week. I will be
looking for proper letter formation and neatness.
