<DIV> HAPPY END OF THE YEAR! It's hard to believe that we are wrapping up our time together in Kindergarten! It seems like just yesterday when you were dropping your child off for the first time.  On that day, some had tears, some had 5 snacks, some had backpacks bigger than they were! It's amazing how the children grew right in front of our eyes in EVERY way... physically, emotionally, socially and academically. I think our expectations were met this year and then some! Congratulations to all of you!  As a family, you and your Kindergarten child have achieved many goals and you did it TOGETHER, no better way! The end of the school year is certainly the busiest time of year! We have so many activities going on and practically something exciting every day! The following list includes some of the highlights of our last few days: May 25 Memorial Day Program (Please bring a beach towel to sit on!) May 28 NO SCHOOL! Happy Memorial Day! May 31 Class trip to The Crayola Factory! (Please pack a disposable lunch!) June 1 Field Day/Beach Party (Please bring a towel and Swedish fish!) June 5 Kindergarten Moving Up Ceremony for our Class at 8:45. (4 guests!) June 6 11:00 Early Dismissal June 7 LAST DAY and Class Breakfast! Early Dismissal at 11: Please continue to check your child's Roadrunner Folder every day for important announcements, reminders or changes in our schedule. Thank you for all of your support this year and for allowing me to spend my days with your little ones! You have made my job very enjoyable! I am so excited for summer and I hope you are too! Take advantage of the time you can spend with your child doing activities that will leave a lasting impression on them. Two students in our class have been sporting t-shirts with the best advice, "TAKE ON SUMMER!" and "GET ME TO THE BEACH AND NO ONE GETS HURT!"
