2010-2011 CONCERTS AND OTHER INFORMATION SPRING CONCERT...................TUESDAY, MAY 24th at 2 and 7 PM (Features Fifth Grade Chorus, Band, Bell Choir, Fourth Grade Recorder Classes, and Songfest Participants) Fifth Grade Bell Choir will begin in February. Auditions are underway, and parents will receive notification of their child is invited to join bell choir. There are 10 slots to be filled (2 are managerial). Fourth Grade Students will be presenting the musical, "The Frog Prince" this year. Parts have been assigned, and rehearsals have begun. 100% of the fifth grade students are participating in chorus this year. We had a very nice concert on January 25th, and have begin studying and rehearsing our music for the Spring Concert. This is going to be a great "band" year. Out of 38 fifth grade students, 24 have chosen to play in the concert band. This is approximately 64% of the fifth grade class!!! Hooray for the fifth grade! Students in fourth grade are playing the recorder (fantastically, I might add!). Parents, please continue to encourage regular practice at home.
