Welcome to Sixth Grade! I am so happy to begin another year at St.
Athanasius - Immaculate Conception School.
I am a graduate of Catholic elementary and high schools. I believe this
education inspired me to see how important it is to educate the whole child,
academically and spiritually. I attended West Chester University, where I
earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education.
Teaching in a Catholic school gives me the opportunity to provide my
students with the knowledge of the academic subjects in order to become
successful learners. More importantly, it gives me the opportunity to be a
role model as a disciple of Jesus. Living as a respectful, responsible
Christian enhances the talents of which each child is graced.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading and spending time with my family and
friends. My favorite season is fall, which is also known as football
season! My favorite team is, of course, the E-A-G-L-E-S, Eagles!! I am
a true fan, through good times and not so good.
My expectations for this school year are for the students to develop their
critical thinking and reading skills, as well as their problem solving
skills. I also expect the students to be responsible, respectful members of
the school community.
I hope that this school year is a happy, positive one for each child in the
6th grade.
