I am Miss Denise Basile. I have been an educator in the Archdiocese of
Philadelphia for 29 years. I look forward to my third year teaching at St.
Athanasius-Immaculate Conception School. This school is known far and wide
for its excellent staff, eager students, and supportive parents/guardians.
I hope to foster that same wonderful spirit in my classroom this year.
My hobbies are varied, when I make the time to practice them! Among other
things,I am interested in history, and visit museums and historical places
whenever I can.
My goals for this year are to a) encourage the love of learning in my
students; b) prepare them to be lifelong learners; and c) build upon the
fine Catholic tradition established by their previous teachers.
I hope that each student will strive to use the talents that God gave each
individual person. Success can be measured in many ways. One of the most
important is the answer "Yes" to the question, "Did I try my best today?"
