Announcements for December:
Report Card Conference day/time reminders sent home on Tuesday Dec.1st
December 4th Friday-Early Dismissal @ 11:45.
December 5th and 6th Christmas Bazaar in the school's gym.
December 8th Tuesday- No School! Holy Day of Obligation-The Immaculate
Conception.
December 9th Wednesday-Early Dismissal @ 11:45 Report Card Conferences.
December 10th Thursday-Christmas Show @ Cardnial Dougherty Highschool.
Students are to be @ that the show no later than 6:45p.m. Students are to
wear black and white! And they must have a scraf with them for their
performance. Please take care of any bathroom needs before the show and
please see that your child is on time. Thank you!
December 14th through December 18th-SANTA'S SECRET WORKSHOP:Students who
bring in money for the shop may attend.
December 23rd Wednesday-Early Dismissal @ 11:45 Christmas Holiday begins.
Please see that your child is picked up on time.
School resumes on January 4th
Christmas Cards: If any student would like to bring in Christmas/Holiday
cards for the class, they may. I ask that there be a card for each child and
please do not put names on the cards. The class has 31 students in it.
Please do not send in any Christmas treats to be shared with the class. Miss
Jodi will take care of any treats that will be given out. Thank you!

BEHAVIOR SHEET/CALENDAR:
The behavior/calendar sheet that comes home in your child's Yellow
Behavior/Take Home Folder. That is your child's behavior sheet and it is to
be signed each day. The calendar is collected at the end of each month to
determine if a student may or may not go to the First grade prize box. If
there are any sad faces, red notes or demerits attached to the sheet, the
students may not get a prize for that month. They will always have a chance
in the next month to improve his/her behavior, to receive a prize.
BIRTHDAYS:
If your child celebrates his/her birthday within the school year, he/she may
bring in cupcakes to share with the class at lunch time. The cupcakes must
be brought to the office before 11:30 a.m., the students will eat the
cupcakes in the lunch room. There are 31 students in the first grade class
and please send napkins as well. I ask no other type of birthday treat be
sent in with your child.
HOT LUNCH MONEY:
Please see that when the hot lunch envelopes are sent home, that they are
returned in a timely manner. If you have questions regarding the Hot Lunch
program please speak to Miss Kelly directly or write her a note, and send it
with your child and I will be glad to give it to Miss Kelly personally.
