About The Teacher

Hello and welcome to the First grade web page. My name is Jodi
Lindenmuth, the children may call me Miss Jodi in school. I am a graduate of
Temple University where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary
Education. Upon my graduation, I received the College of Education Award,
for demonstrating excellence in teaching. I began teaching in 2002, as a
public school teacher for 2 years and decided it was time to become a
Catholic school teacher. I attended 12 years of Catholic school and I always
wanted to teach Religion. I believe that teaching in a Catholic School lets
me share my religious values and beliefs with the students. I believe that
becoming a Catholic educator, gives me the special opportunity to see each
child as an individual and a special part of God's family through my own
Catholic education.

I began teaching at St. Athanasius-Immaculate Conception School in 2004 as a
substitute teacher in the first grade. I was then offered a permanent
position as the regular first grade teacher and I love it!

Mission For The Class

The mission for our class is for all students to become independent
readers and for all students to grow and succeed as a child of God.
