1. Dress passes: There are times throughout the year when the children
receive dress passes. This means that the child may come to school dressed in
play clothes. The dress pass needs to be placed in the homework folder on the
day that it is used. Parents choose the day.
2. School closings/delayed openings:Our school does not have a specific
number. Announcements that pertain to our school are included in the
statement "All Archdiocesan schools are open/closed." Sometimes the
word 'parochial ' is used instead of 'Archdiocesan'. Please do not call the
school, convent, or rectory to find out if schools are closed. The school
administration and staff do not receive advance notice. Information may be
heard on KYW News radio or found on www.kyw1060.com.
3. The girls amy wear their gym pants under the uniform on cold days. The
children may not wear boots in the classroom. The children are asked to place
their shoes in their schoolbags so that they may change out of their wet
boots once inside the classroom.
4. Absence notes: Please send place a note into your child's homework folder
indicating the date and reason for absence after your child returns to
school. It is very important for the teacher to have an accurate attendance
record for each student.
