Week Fifteen…Third Week of Advent

·     Our Advent weeks move swiftly…let us prepare!

·     On Tuesday evening, our first and second graders will have their Christmas show in     O’Brien Hall.

·     Our Kindergarten and Preschool children will have their show on Thursday.

·        Thank you for your generosity in the gift tag program.  We had a beautiful ceremony in Church as families carried up their gifts.  The various choirs were delightful.

·        On Wednesday, we have our Parish Advent Penance Service; please consider using the wonderful sacrament of reconciliation as part of your Christmas preparations.

·        And, finally, Friday is a half day session to allow you time to arrange conferences with your child/children’s teachers.

·        In the afternoon on Friday, our teachers will be treated to a Christmas dinner, compliments of Home & School.  In the evening, Home & School will sponsor their monthly Junior High Dance.

·        Looking ahead to our short week next week:  our band students will offer a little Christmas concert to the students on Monday.

·        On Wednesday, we will hold our traditional Jingle Ball of songs and skits and just plain fun.

Important item:  several parents are parking in the lot and then going to the Bond doors to pick up their children in the walking line.  This is not safe.  The children who go home in cars must be in the car line and must get picked up from the Harper doors. Please try to pay attention to this.  If you really want to pick up your child in the Bond Door area, you must park on a block that is outside the school’s perimeter and walk your child back to your car.
