Announcements/Graduation Info

Dear Parents:

Since your childrens' schedules are now departmental vs. the usual grade
program to which you have grown accustomed, it has become necessary to alter
how we do our parent/teacher conferences. Unfortunately, with this new
scheduling, some teachers do not see all the children in their respective
grades; therefore, it does not make sense for every teacher to meet with
their homeroom parents, only, since they may not even teach them. Hopefully,
this revised version will allow you the opportunity to meet with the teachers
that actually teach your child, thereby, making the best use of your time.

Please see below for the formal announcement regarding the upcoming
conferences.

CONFERENCES

Conferences will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 10. Parents of students in Grades
6, 7, and 8 are welcome to come to school between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM on that
day. Please use the sign-in sheet that will be posted outside the classroom
of each teacher. You just need to sign the sheet as soon as you arrive, and
the conference will begin as close to that time as possible. Remember,
though, we need to see all parents, so those of you who do not come on the
above date will be asked to sign up on December 15, after viewing the report
card. Thank you.

The Upper Grade Teachers

I hope you find this helpful, but if you have any comments and/or concerns,
please do not hesitate to contact me and I will be happy to assist you.

Thank you for your continued support, and I look forward to meeting with you,
and/or speaking with you via a phone conference. This will be your choice,
and I will certainly try to accommodate your schedule.

My thanks, again, and may God continue to bless you and your family and keep
you always in His care.

Sincerely,

Ms. Kelso

Dear Parents and Students of the Class of '10:

I was so overwhelmed by the thoughtfulness, generosity and heartwarming
support offered by this class on behalf of the children in St. Albert's
parish who tragically lost both their parents.

This is what our school is all about, this is what we teach--being caring,
loving and supportive to those who may need our help, even if they don't
ask. The fact that our students thought and planned out their "Dress Down
Day" on their own, and with very little time, made what they did even more
impressive.

Students, my hat is off to you. I am so very proud of you!

Parents, you are doing something very right!

Thank you to everyone, and may this be the start of a very special year for
all of us.
