Chaperones for our "Babes in Toyland" have been picked.  Please send in the 
$12 fee by next Monday.  If you were not picked to be a chaperone, you wll be 
picked for another trip.  If your child has not returned their trip form and 
fee, please do so.  Here are the chaperones:
   Elin Balmer, Brian McMenamin, Helen Bembischew, Colleen McClain, Maureen 
Skalski, Lisa Iovanisci, and Rita Fernandes

Saturday, November 14th is National Teddy Bear Day.  We will be celebrating 
on Friday.  Please have your child bring in 1 TEDDY BEAR for Friday's 
activites. If your child does not have a bear, please let me know.  Thanks!

Dear Parents,

Please continue to remind your children to cough and sneeze in the crook of 
their arms.  We have had several children out sick/ going home sick.  If you 
have not sent in hand sanitizer with your child, please feel free to do so.  
Also, remember that your child should not return to school until they have 
been fever free (and off any fever reducing meds) for 24 hours and they are 
feeling better.  I will continue to clorox/sanitize desks every day.
If your child is out sick for a few days, please do not worry about making up 
the work.  For now, just have your child get lots of rest.

WE HAVE A CLASS PET!!!  THANKS TO KAITLYN BEMBISCHEW AND HER FAMILY, WE HAVE 
A PET HERMIT CRAB.  HIS NAME IS TABOR AND HE IS VERY CUTE.  IF YOU WOULD LIKE 
TO VOLUNTEER TO SHARE YOU HOME WITH HIM ON WEEKEND, PLEASE SEND ME AN EMAIL 
OR A NOTE.  WE ARE SO THANKFUL THAT HE IS HERE TO TEACH US ABOUT 
RESPONSIBILITY!!!

Scholastic order forms are going home this week.  If you would like to order, 
you can send in the forms with a check addressed to SCHOLASTIC.  NO CASH WILL 
BE ACCEPTED.  For your convenience, you will be able to order and pay

Please continue to foster responsibilty at home.  Encourage your child to 
help make their lunch, pack their own snack, get dressed with little 
assistance, etc.  This will help to strengthen their independence and teach 
the kids to take pride in what they do!

Please remember to send in hand sanitizer with your child.  We would also 
like every child to bring in a container or Clorox or Lysol wipes.

Dear Parents,

Please have your child practice their reading skills daily.  You can read to 
them, listen to them read, tell stories using pictures, create lists, etc.  
The possibilities are endless!!!
