intend to give that amount of Math work but please know that for this
trimester and the last, homework will be increased due to the amout needed to
be covered and its content.

This excerpt was taken from "Today's Catholic Teacher", October 2009; Vol43,
Number2.....written by Susan Brooks-Young, a former teacher, now a
professional consultant and author:
At this time experts recommend limited or no use of calculators through grade
three, with careful planned use in grades four through six, and required use
beginning in grade seven. The majority of our students will not become
scientists, engineers, or mathematicians; however, they will be working in
business environments that increasingly rely on the use if techonolgy to
accomplish daily tasks.
