This is my 25th year of teaching and 21 of those years I have been a first
grade teacher. I taught first grade at St. Michael the Archangel in
Levittown for 3 years and spent 1 year teaching first grade in the Pocono's.
I then taught 2nd and 3rd grade at Norwood-Fontbonne Academy in Chestnut
Hill.
The next 10 years were spent at home raising my 3 boys. I substituted for 1
year and returned to teaching at St. Christopher in 1991. This is my 17th
year in first grade at St. Christopher School and each year I get as excited
to meet the children as I did my first year teaching.
I have been a member of St. Christopher Parish since 1987. My three sons
attended St. Christopher School and graduated in 1994, 1996 and 1998.
Presently I am a member of the Stewardship Committee and the Welcoming
Committee for our Parish.
To help each child to go as far as they can and to show the children what
kindness can do.
How far you go in life depends on your being
tender with the young,
compassionate with the aged,
sympathetic with the striving,
and tolerant of the weak and the strong.
Because some day in life you will have been all of these.
