I have a BS in Elementary Education from Gwynedd-Mercy College and have taken
some graduate courses from Philadelphia University.
This is my 27th year of teaching and 23 of those years I have been a first
grade teacher. My first teaching experience was first grade at St. Michael
the Archangel in Levittown for 3 years and then 1 year teaching first grade
in the Pocono's. I then taught 2nd and 3rd grade at Norwood-Fontbonne Academy
in Chestnut Hill. The next 10 years were spent at home raising my 3 boys. I
substituted for 1 year and returned to teaching at St. Christopher in 1991.
This is my 19th year in first grade at St. Christopher School and each year I
get as excited to meet the children as I did my first year teaching.
I have been a member of St. Christopher Parish since 1987. My three sons
attended St. Christopher School and graduated in 1994, 1996 and 1998.
Presently I am a member of the Parish Stewardship Committee.
News Flash!!--I became a grandmom this summer to a beautiful baby boy.
Anthony Joseph DelQuadro made his appearance on August 6th and I am loving
every minute with him. If you have an hour, ask me about my grandson!
On a sadder note, my mom went home to God on August 12th. Many of you knew
her and prayed for her. She was almost 91 years old. I was a very lucky
daughter to have her with us for so long. There is a big hole in my heart
for her but she did get to meet Anthony and that makes me smile!
To help each child reach his/her full potential while preparing them to be
life-long learners and to make sure each child knows how much God loves them
and what kindness to others can do.
